Ainsley is not the only horse person in the family. I have a horse too. He and my great dane Ashley are the same size. Small but mighty :-)
Jim was invited to a dinner for Newt and is very proud.
Jim's radio show is going very well. He loves it. His show is every Tuesday morning from 8-9. Well Christmas and New Years are on Tuesdays this year and Jim has asked me to be on his show. He said he was writing a scrip for me so I stay on track. Darn. It sounds like fun. You can hear us on IPOD on Jim's website. This may be the beginning of a whole new career for me. :-)
Jim's youngest Zachary Gibson and his new wife, Lindsay are both in the Air force. Currently Lindsay is in Afghanistan on her 4th tour. Zach has been transferred to turkey and they are finding a job for Lindsay there too. So she comes home the end of January and they move to turkey for two years as of May. We are so excited for them. Jim and I are definitely going to visit.
Here are a couple og great pictures taken from the back yard overlooking the Brazos River just above Lake Granbury. The geese are just passing through.
This is the newest addition to our flock.. A 17 year old double yellow head Amazon parrot named Trace. Has about 50 phrases and talks constantly. Former owner was a merchant marine so Trace also has some colorful language, which he uses when he is angry. He whistles the theme to Gilligan's island and say "Ahoy matey". We are having fun talking to him.
This was an attempt to get a group picture on the morning after Boney's surprise party for her 90th birthday. Missing from the picture are Deanna, and the Brooks although they we at the party. This picture was taken in Janet's living room.
Jim's youngest son, Zach Gibson, graduated from Air Force Basic Training in San Antonio. He's on his way to more training to be a forward combat air traffic controller with the Air Force Special Forces. I wasn't able to make the graduation but Jim was there.
